World Contraception Day 26th September 2019

World Contraception Day (WCD) takes place on September 26th every year. The annual worldwide campaign centres around a vision where every pregnancy is wanted. Launched in 2007, World Contraception Day’s mission is to improve awareness of contraception and to enable young people to make informed choices on their sexual and reproductive health.

As a major supplier of Oral Contraceptives in Ireland, Consilient Health is delighted to mark World Contraception Day by announcing the availability of the newly updated “Oral Contraceptives – Patient Management Guide”. Consilient Health Ltd, in association with Dr Deirdre Lundy, developed this educational tool for use by GPs, Gynaecologists, Women’s Health Specialists, Nurses and Trainee Junior Doctors for the management of patients on contraceptive care. Dr Deirdre Lundy is a practising GP with a special interest in Sexual and Reproductive Health.
